Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Ahmad Raza ("we," "us," or "our"), operating under the Google Play store name Humanizar Texto, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Water Tracker & Reminder App ("the App").
The App helps you track daily water intake, set hydration reminders, and monitor your drinking habits. We are committed to your privacy and built the App to work with as little personal data as possible.
Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the App's functionality:
Information you provide directly:
- Hydration goals — your daily water intake target (e.g., 2,500 ml)
- Water log entries — the amount and time of each drink you record
- Personal parameters — optional details such as body weight or activity level, used solely to suggest a daily goal
- Reminder preferences — your chosen notification times and frequency
Information collected automatically:
- Crash and diagnostic data — anonymized error reports that help us fix bugs (if crash reporting is enabled; see Third-Party Services)
- Basic device info — device model, OS version, and app version, collected only when a crash report is submitted
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, payment information, precise location, or any other personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it to contact us for support.
How We Use Your Data
The information we collect is used exclusively to:
- Display your daily and historical water intake within the App
- Calculate progress toward your hydration goal
- Schedule and deliver local push reminders on your device
- Suggest a personalized daily water goal based on optional parameters you provide
- Diagnose crashes and improve App stability (anonymized crash data only)
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond the core functionality described above.
Data Storage & Security
All hydration data is stored locally on your device. Your water logs, goals, and preferences are saved in the App's local database and do not leave your device unless you explicitly use a backup feature (such as Google Drive backup enabled in your Android settings, which is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy).
We implement standard security practices to protect locally stored data:
- Data is stored in the App's private sandbox, inaccessible to other apps
- No account creation or login is required
- Clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App permanently deletes all stored information from your device
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties. We may share anonymized, non-identifiable data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Crash reporting services — anonymized diagnostic data may be shared with a crash-reporting provider to help us fix bugs
- Legal compliance — if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process (e.g., court order), we may disclose information as required
- Business transfers — if the App or its assets are acquired by another entity, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction; we will notify you via an in-app notice or updated privacy policy
App Permissions
The App requests the following Android permissions:
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS — required to deliver water reminder notifications. You can revoke this at any time in Android Settings → Apps → Water Tracker → Permissions. Revoking disables reminders but does not affect logging.
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — allows the App to re-schedule your reminders after your device restarts, so notifications continue working across reboots.
- SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM (Android 12+) — used to deliver reminders at your specified times with precision.
- VIBRATE — used to vibrate the device when a reminder notification fires.
The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, call logs, SMS, precise location, or any sensitive permissions beyond those listed above.
Third-Party Services
The App may integrate with the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy:
- Google Play Services — required for App installation, updates, and licensing. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Firebase Crashlytics (if enabled) — collects anonymized crash reports and performance data to help us identify and fix bugs. No personally identifiable information is included. Governed by Google Firebase's Privacy Policy.
- Google AdMob (if ads are shown in a free version) — may display ads and use device identifiers for ad delivery. You can opt out of personalized ads via your device settings. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
We do not integrate any social media SDKs, analytics platforms that track behavior across apps, or any data-broker services.
Children's Privacy
The Water Tracker & Reminder App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately using the details below, and we will delete that information promptly.
If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information from our records.
Your Rights
Because all App data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your information:
- Access & view — all your data is visible within the App at all times
- Edit — you can modify or delete any log entry or setting within the App
- Delete all data — go to Android Settings → Apps → Water Tracker → Storage → Clear Data, or simply uninstall the App
- Revoke permissions — manage any App permission at any time in Android Settings → Apps → Water Tracker → Permissions

Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
- Post the revised policy on Google Play and within the App

Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
